How much does a WordPress website cost?
It depends on scope rather than on the platform. A five-page site for a service business costs less than a twenty-page site, which costs less than one with a WooCommerce checkout. Rescuing an existing site is usually cheaper than rebuilding it. You tell us what you need and you get one fixed price in writing, free, before any work starts.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes, and we train you on your own site before handover so you can update text, swap images and add pages without waiting on anyone. That training is recorded so you can rewatch it later or hand it to a colleague. If you would rather not touch it, a monthly care plan is available instead.
What if I already have a WordPress site that isn’t working?
That is a large part of what we do. We take a full backup, diagnose what is actually wrong, and give you a written verdict: what is broken, what is a security risk, and whether it is worth keeping. Very often it is, and fixing it costs less than a rebuild. We will tell you plainly when that is the case rather than selling you a new site.
Do you work outside Kampala?

Is WordPress secure? I have heard it gets hacked.
WordPress core is actively maintained and secure. Nearly every hacked site we clean was running outdated plugins or a theme nobody had updated since launch. The platform is not the weakness, the maintenance gap is. We harden the site at build, and you either maintain it yourself with what we show you or hand it to us monthly.
Can you move my site from Wix or Squarespace to WordPress?
Yes. Those platforms cannot export a working site, so it is a rebuild rather than a file transfer, but your content, images and structure come across. The important part is redirects: we map every old URL to its new one so the rankings and links you already have are not lost in the move.
Will my site be fast on Ugandan mobile data?
That is designed in rather than hoped for. Images are compressed and resized, caching is configured, and the theme is kept lean instead of loading a page builder’s entire library on every view. We test on throttled connections before launch, because your visitor is paying for every megabyte out of a bundle.
Do you build online shops on WooCommerce?
Yes. WooCommerce runs on WordPress so you keep the same ownership and SEO advantages. These builds are scoped case by case because payment methods, delivery rules and stock handling differ per business. We will tell you honestly if a simpler catalogue with WhatsApp ordering would serve you better for now.
